Description

This combination of both the pure B&W and color-enhanced versions of the Radiance Fan image, plays on the lower right and upper left palm fronds seeming to reach toward and converge on the center point of the panel, drawing attention into the color-enhanced versions of the image, which seem to burst out from and visually diverge away from the center. This creates a kind of attentional tension which is further served by the bold coloration of the frond stem of the color-enhanced images lending a sense of rotational sweep, inducing the eye remain in a pleasant perpetual motion over the totality.
