Though completely in the late afternoon shadow of the background high wood fencing around a Beverly Hills tennis court, this lone shoot of new tree/leaf growth was so expressive in its' sense of gesture, sense of reaching upward toward the light, that judicious use of lens filters enabled the high contrast isolation evident here to convey a near euphoric sense of weightlessness. This is a color enhanced variation of the original black and white image.
